Lori Klassen has been involved in making art in the Toronto community for over 30 years. Her artwork has been described as "full of intensity, drama and sensuality" — not surprising considering she began her artistic journey as a singer, performing on operatic and concert stages across Canada and Europe. On a whim, she took a summer class in acrylic painting from a school called "Artworks — Art for the Terrified", and her passion for painting was born. She has since taken courses at the Toronto School of Art, and has studied and worked for Ritins Studio, Lori Le Mare Studio. She has exhibited work in the Toronto Outdoor Art exhibition, The Artist Project, Queen West Art Crawl, and the Riverdale Artwalk. Her television work included regular appearances on WTN's Candice Tells All and a behind the scenes gig as the decorative painter on Divine Design with Candice Olsen. She now works out of her home studio in the Beaches in Toronto.
